All Clad #59936 stainless 3-quart fondue set, $10

The All-Clad #59936 stainless steel fondue set comes with six fondue forks and a ceramic insert. Okay, it’s a fondue set. What’s the big deal here?

This unassuming little All Clad fondue set retails for a whopping  $110, which means a nice little cash snack. But the real message in this particular Gallery entry is the All-Clad brand name. The All-Clad name is one that you must always remember, and if you are serious about making money in this business, you absolutely must take some time to familiarize yourself with All-Clad's line of products.

Just as with certain other brands of cookware, All-Clad products are very expensive across the board. And thanks to all the fanatical All-Clad devotees ready to bid heavily on them when they find their way to eBay, used examples hold their prices very well. This fact is really important, because ‘expensive new’ does not always translate into ‘expensive used’!   

Although this set had a sticker on the box that read, ‘Never Used, $10’, the heat marks on the bottom of the pot indicated that this set had been used at least one time. I easily removed the marks with some Mother’s aluminum polish (which actually works on just about everything!) and it looked like new.  

Another tipoff that this set may have seen use is the little can of burner fuel, which was not in the box as it came shipped from the All-Clad folks. Used or not, the important thing about this set is that all parts were still there and everything was in excellent shape.
